SOIL BIO-MUTI (SBM)   SOIL BIO-MUTI consists of a balanced mix of soil organisms for the recovery of depleted soils and also for soil enrichment without the use of chemical fertilisers. How to use SOIL BIO-MUTI in your garden: Sprinkle green or dried grass cuttings in a 5cm layer between plants Dilute the BIO-MUTI 50:1 (±1 cup to 10 litres) with water and pour this onto the grass cuttings.  This 1 cup is enough to cover 9 m².  Lightly fork the grass cuttings into the soil. How to use SOIL BIO-MUTI in commercial agriculture: Apply the diluted SOIL BIO-MUTI to harvest residue, or veld grass using a pesticide sprayer. The sprayer must first be thoroughly cleaned using Cloudy Ammonia or Hydrogen peroxide and properly rinsed to remove any pesticide residue which will destroy the SBM microbes. Dilute the SOIL BIO-MUTI 50:1 with water and spray onto the lands, and immediately plough into the soil with a one- way disc plough. The SBM microbes are killed by direct sunlight, so one needs to get them onto the wetted material and into the soil as quickly as possible. This can be done by mounting the sprayer on the 3-point hitch of the tractor, and then disc plough towed directly behind. A more effective method is to mount the sprayer onto the 3-point hitch and re-locate the spray bar onto the frame of the disc so that the diluted SBM sprays directly in front of the disc plough. Easy Composting with SOIL BIO-MUTI Dilute the BIO-MUTI 50:1 (±1 cup to 10 litres) with water and pour this onto each 50cm layer of organic material as you make your compost heap. Use any of the following to make your compost heap: Any green or dry plant materials, e.g. grass clippings, raked leaves, Any manure, including manure from livestock, poultry and even dogs Any organic waste, including cartons, newspapers (no shiny paper) Make sure you add about 50 litres of extra water per cubic metre of bio-compost each time to saturate the organisms and don’t make the heap higher than 1.5m.  Using BIO-MUTI in layers means you: never have to turn the heap, the compost decomposes faster, and minerals are released into the compost, which will give you healthier plants! It is ready when you can no longer identify what was used to make the compost, and it will look like soil and smell earthy. This compost is ideal for use on pioneer crops and vegetables. When making compost, make sure that you: Spread green grass clippings evenly so that they don’t form clumps. Break sticks into small pieces so that they break down easily. Provide shelter for your heap because sunlight and extreme temperatures can kill the microorganisms Available in the following pack sizes: 5 litre Plastic bottle. 25 litre Plastic pail. 210 litre Plastic drum. 1000 litre Flow Bin. Product can be collected, in your own container, from your area distributor by arrangement.
